    *COMMON ARC: LOCAL 4 WILL HAVE COMMON ARC ON JUNE 17-19, 2025 PLEASE BE READY TO TEST. PEOPLE WHO DO NOT HAVE COMMON ARC PAPERS WILL NEED TO GET PRE-CERTIFIED BY COMMING IN TO PRACTICE BEFORE TESTING. *

    Rigging Training Modules 1 - 4. Class will be held on January 13 - 15, 2025. All New helpers and Apprentices are required to take this class, to be current on the BDS. Call the Hall and get signed up for the class before it fills up.

    OSHA Classes will be given online. Your OSHA date is good for 5 years with this local. Before the 5 years you are required to take the Most 5 hour refresher. Some places may require you to update your OSHA 10 more often. 
     
    MSHA classes given in Salt Lake City. The Safety Consortium gives MSHA classes every month for refreshers it will be 1 day $100. for the new miner training it is 3 days $300. You can sign up online using the link below. Get your receipt and certificate and the hall will re-imburse you.  https://thesafetyconsort.com/msha-enrollment/?month=6&yr=2024

     CMW - will have a Superheater change out in Twin Falls, Idaho in January 2025. Also Kennecott will have a shutdown in 2025.
